In this course, the shooters will be pushed beyond their comfort levels to build confidence in weapon handling, understanding the balance between speed and accuracy, and will leave with an understanding of how to train accordingly. Class is limited to 20 spots!
Topics of instruction include, but are not limited to:
- Grip/sights/trigger fundamentals
- Drawing from holster
- Vision
- Improved marksmanship
- Recoil management
- Moving and shooting
Required for class:
- Duty handgun
- Duty belt with holster and mag pouches (no SERPA holsters permitted)
- At least 3 magazines
- 600 rounds of ammunition
- Eye/ear protection
- Food and drinks for the day
- Appropriate clothing for the weather forecast
